In the wonderful world of vinyl cover art, it’s far from uncommon to experience the unfortunate disparity that occurs when style overcomes substance. However, such is happily not the case with Beat Squeeze’s new release, Music Library – an aptly-titled “funky and synthetic library tracks compilation,” selected by Mister Modo and Ugly Mac Beer. In addition to the frankly glorious retro-future sci-fi artwork on the sleeve, the high-quality funky European 70s sounds have been picked to delight the ears of vintage groove fans.
